Scheduling Officer
Newcastle Anglican | 50hours/fortnight | Part-time | Warabrook, NSW
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Scheduling Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity. In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting our services by coordinating rosters, liaising with internal stakeholders, and adapting to changing priorities.

About you?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the scheduling of employees or relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to use Data bases and Microsoft office suite programs, for example Outlook, Word and Excel
- Demonstrated experience interpreting Awards, ensuring scheduling compliance, industrial instruments and roster optimisation.
- Demonstrated experience or commitment to customer service focus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- A friendly, "no problem" disposition when dealing with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to work a rotating roster.
- Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of WHS responsibilities
- Proven ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Highly developed teamwork skills
- Demonstrated positive communication and conflict resolution skills
QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL:
- Current drivers’ licence
- NDIS Worker screening clearance
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
